Credit Controller

Hybrid: 2/3 days per week office based

The JMLongbridge Group are currently working with a leading entertainment provider, supporting them with their search for a Credit Controller.

As key members of the European AR & Credit Control organisation, the AR & Credit will be responsible for managing day to day credit risk, dispute resolution, and to prevent and doubtful debts. She /He supports the Senior AR & Credit Risk Manager and work in accordance with the standard European process, Policies and systems.

This opportunity is being offered as a 6mos FTC and is a mixture of hybrid working. The successful applicant would be required to attend their Weybridge office 2/3 times a week.

Key duties include:
oProvide support managing and controlling the credit risk and liaising with the Outsource Partner.
oObtain from Sales Management the Sales forecast as basis for defining credit limit needs by the customers and then prepare, maintain and monitor corresponding credit assessments and agreements. ( incl. peak season)
oControl/maintain the credit related customer master data in SAP including risk category and other risk related aspects (e.g. credit limit, insurance, payment terms), fulfilling AML and customer compliance related activities in line with the SEU Credit Risk Policy to avoid any future bad debts.
oPerform periodic credit reviews on UK & Ireland customers
oMaintaining all necessary documentation required for insurance and security coverage purposes.
oEnsure the management of customer accounts and collection activities by outsourcer WNS.
oMaintain a good / direct relationship with our Credit insurer to discuss/resolve insurance related issues.
oReview, authorise and release orders, in line with SEU Credit Risk Policy under supervision of the Credit Control Regional Manager
oPerform all sales relevant activities (e.g. order releases customer set-up, credit limit and insurance reviews and updates) in timely manner.
oSupport the calculation and review of specific bad debt calculation
oCo-ordinate activities on dispute management including:
Ensuring assigned parties are fulfilling the required tasks and solving the disputes timely ( incl. escalation to Sales Management)
