The JM Group are working a leading infrastructure company based in Weymouth on a permanent basis, paying up to £65k for the Solution Architect or £85k for a Senior Solution Architect.
The Solution Architect will be working on a variety of projects. They must have solid experience in either retail or telecoms.
*Creating solution architectures that align to the EA standards and the IT roadmap, ensuring any deviations are agreed with the respective Enterprise Architects
*Working with Project Managers and Business Analysts in understanding business needs to develop appropriate technology solutions
*Creating system solution options matrices with recommendations for option selection to enable effective decision making.
*Ensuring the viability of proposed solutions and provide direction, advice and guidance on the appropriate approach to the solution throughout the project
*Performing the design authority role on projects ensuring that the solutions delivered align to the solution architecture.
*Vendor selection processes and management throughout the project lifecycle
