Service Desk Analyst (1st/2nd)
The job holder will be responsible and share the work load for Help Desk Analyst (1st/2nd line issues and escalation, web publishes, etc), Server Engineer (Backup operations and validation, etc) and Networks Engineer (Patching, access port provisioning, etc).
Based in London
FTC for 6 months £38k
*You will be line of escalation for end user computing issues with responsibility for their resolution.
*You will be input to plans and designs for all aspects of end user computing and the IT roadmap.
*You will ensure that operational procedures are created and maintained for all aspects of the role - amending and enhancing existing procedures as well as a systematic review of procedures and subsequent creation of required additional procedures.
*Will be responsible for creating design and as-built documents for any new systems and projects implemented.
*ideally have some prior experience in executive support and understand the focus required.
*will be responsible for assisting with Disaster Recovery activities at any of the bank's normal or temporary sites.
*will be responsible for liaising with suppliers with input in bargaining and purchasing
*A degree level qualification in a relevant field
*Experience in a regulated organisation
*MS Windows 10
*Familiarity with Cisco networking equipment - CCNA preferred
*An MCP or MCSE qualification is a must have for this position together with experience of the Microsoft 365 and MS Teams Architecture.
*Microsoft deployment mechanisms such as WDS, MDT and SCCM
*Windows Virtualisation services such as VMware, Citrix or Hyper-V
*MS Certifications preferred - MCSA preferred, Windows Desktop MCSA strongly preferred
*Exposure to: Ivanti, InTune, MobileIron, PC imaging tools, remote support tools, software deployment and packaging
