Global Financial Services Firm is hiring for a Senior Power BI Consultant. This role requires at least 2-3 days in the Liverpool-based office. This role can be either permanent or FTC, paying between £60K - £75K. You must have a strong fundamental understanding of data warehousing, data modeling and data engineering best practice.

Responsibilities include:

*Identify business reporting and analytic needs by collaborating with end users, stakeholders and technology teams
*Design, develop, and maintain enterprise BI reports, visualizations and dashboards
*Work in an agile project model including working with user stories, providing prototypes and presenting demos to the end users
*Work closely with the data warehouse teams and data analysts to interpret and represent accurate data conclusions to the users
*Work with the data warehouse team to build and maintain security models to support operational reporting and ad-hoc reporting security requirements
*Provide report testing support for the UAT team and execute report and analytics unit testing
*Document report design, bursting and scheduling documentation and test case documentation as well as assist with end user documentation

Required Skills:

*You will ideally have at least 3-5 years experience working with the Power BI Service and experience with Microsoft Azure
*Extensive background working with database systems along with a strong knowledge of PL/SQL, T-SQL and basic ANSI SQL
*Strong understanding of core Power BI assets including Workspaces, Datasets, Dataflows, Reports/Dashboards, APPS, etc.
*Team Leading or leadership capability with influencing and organisational skills
