Responsibilities include:
* Take overall ownership for all aspects of the project from initiation to delivery, ensuring the project is completed on time, to the required scope & objectives, and within budget
* To be the point of contact for the project with the accountability and authority to deliver
* Liaise with stakeholders from other teams and/or geographies in the organization to obtain resources and contributions for the project
* Design, communicate, manage and implement the project plan and key milestones
* Identify a list of resources required to complete the project and estimate the time and cost based on that
* Track progress and performance of the project against the plan and costs estimated
* Identify, resolve and escalate risks and issues
* Work with stakeholders to identify and establish priorities, allocate tasks to team members accordingly and coordinate project staff to meet project targets and milestones
* Conduct regular project meetings
* Maintain project reporting as per the agreed frequency and formats to communicate the status at multiple levels, including senior management
* Ensure continuous improvement by maintaining a lessons learnt log and acting upon them
Skills and experience required
* Strong understanding of General Insurance
* Regulatory project management experience ideally ESG
* Estimating and planning skills along with risk management
* Ability to influence project team to ensure successful delivery project implementation
* Strong stakeholder management skills
* Extensive experience in end to end delivery in transformation projects, delivering multi work stream/geography projects
* Wide-ranging experience in resolving complex issues through creative and effective ways
* Good understanding of project management tools, terminologies and techniques
* Project management certifications (PMP/Prince 2)
