Project Manager / Business Analyst - Insurance - Underwriting

Global Insurance Consulting Firm is hiring for an Insurance Project Manager / Business Analyst with Underwriting experience. This is a permanent position, based in the City and paying between £55K - £65K + Bonus + Benefits.

Responsibilities include:
- Produce project charter highlighting project scope and benefits
- Develop project plan and ensure phase-wise delivery
- Project tracking, follow ups, regular updates to all stakeholder
- Identify and report key project risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies
- Manage stakeholder and sponsor engagement
- Track project associated costs and benefits and escalate road-blocks
- Coordinate in Producing toll gate documentation and sign off
- Manage project related communication at each phase of the project to business
functions & key stakeholders
- Conduct workshops to liaise with Business SME to understand business process
- Document 'As Is' business processes as part of discovery exercise
- Identify gaps and process improvement opportunities to streamline and automate
processes based on documented 'As Is' process maps and SME feedback
- Document 'Proposed' process maps in liaison with Business SME
- Participate in solution design and understand all requirements well
- Document User Stories and Problem Statements for allocated project/initiate
- Liaise with Technical Business Analyst and provide support in building technical
requirements and business requirement document (BRD)


Skills:
*Strong expertise in Underwriting process
*Strong stakeholder management skills
*MS Visio experience
*Strong presentation skills
