Job Title: UK Accountant
Reporting To: Financial Controller (UK)
Direct Reports: None
Location: London (principle) with some travel to Redhill
Contract Type: Permanent

An opportunity has arisen for an Accountant to join the UK finance team here at Staffing 360 Solutions!
Purpose
The UK Accountant primary responsibility is for the day to day running of Accounts Payable, banks and cash forecasting. There will also be the opportunity for this role to be involved in Management Accounts.
We will be undergoing a change in accounting software later in the year, which will allow several processes to become more automated and streamlined. This will then provide the opportunity for this role to become more involved in the monthly management Accounts and other tasks.
The role will be more transactional before getting into more management accountants.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable
· Coding and inputting supplier invoices
· Obtaining adequate approval
· Resolving queries
· Supplier statement reconciliations
· Posting staff expenses
Banks
· Setting up payments for approval (AP, staff expenses, etc)
· Bank reconciliations
· Daily loads to IF facility
· Regular liaison with bank on any IF queries
Cash forecasting
- Regular update of actuals and forecast of expected cash position
Management Accounts
- Preparation of accruals and prepayments
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Fixed Assets
About you
Whilst generating accurate information is important, so too is what you use it for! You will be someone who challenges the status quo and uses financial information to drive business outcomes and changes in behaviour across all levels of the organisation. You will have the proven ability to develop strong working relationships with people at all levels across the business.
You will have excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise and organise work.
Must have the ability to work within both a team and independently.
Qualifications & Experience
· ACCA, ACA, or CIMA part-qualified accountant required
· Excellent communication skills
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
· Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals
· Experience within a multi-currency organisation
· Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
· Proficient with Microsoft Office
