Job Title: Payroll Assistant (UK)

Key Responsibilities:

*Preparing and entering timesheet data in Payroll system. Ensure payroll calculations are correct according to company rules and statutory legislation.
*Responding to employee questions about compensation, taxes, benefits, and deductions
*Preparing payroll reports
*Identifies, investigates, and resolves discrepancies in timesheet and payroll records
*Maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail always
*General administration and other duties as requested by management

Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
*1+ year of experience working in payroll, recruitment experience (desirable)
*Sound knowledge and experience of payroll legislation is essential
*Excellent verbal and written communication delivered at all levels
*Intermediate level of MS Office, Excel and Word
*Ability to work under pressure, make decisions and prioritise workload effectively
*A dedicated team player who can also perform tasks independently, Motivated and Proactive carrying out daily tasks.
*Awareness of CIPP and GDPR statutory guidance desired
