Role: Mechanical Design Engineer
You have the opportunity to join a world leading provider of technology advanced equipment for a range of industries. You will join a team of engineers as a Mechanical Design Engineer to design and manufacture electronic systems.
Experience required:
+ You will have experience of mechanical design in commercial or demanding environments.
+ You will have knowledge of configuration control and management practices.
+ You will have knowledge thermal analysis and design.
+ You will have experience using NX/ Teamcenter packages or similar CAD and PLM systems.
+ You will have experience in manufacture, assembly, and test competency.
Mechanical Design Engineer Role overview:
+ You will be designing and developing mechanical solutions to incorporate CPI TMD's electronic products.
+ You will be evaluating design requirements and develop mechanical designs that meet all aspects of specification.
+ You will be supporting bid proposals for cost estimating and feasibility design reviews.
+ You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of requirements capture, definition, decomposition, and allocation to an architectural design.
+ You will be liaising with key stakeholders develop mechanical structures and assemblies with full consideration of component tolerances to ensure consistent cost-effective
manufacture.
