Our client is real estate business that operates across Europe and Australia. They are currently seeking a Legal Counsel to join the Legal team in London.
This role is a wide ranging, leadership position providing full service in-house support to Corporate, UK and European Operations, primarily looking at Real Estate-focused customer service agreements, as well as procurement contracts, construction and project transactions etc. The role will also support internal business areas on matters around marketing, IT, data protection, insurance etc.
Key Responsibilities:
-Provide proactive legal advice to the Legal Team and business stakeholders on commercial matters,
-Assist in negotiating commercial contracts with customers and/or vendors.
-Offer practical and business-oriented legal advice, collaborate, and facilitate cross-functional team support.
-Ensure all contractual documents comply with applicable laws, regulations, and best practices.
Ideal Candidate:
-UK qualified solicitor with 6+ years of post-qualification experience in a top-tier law firm or as in-house counsel.
-Proven experience in a real estate environment
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
