We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic IT Pensions Consultant to join a leading FinTech company offering a portfolio of projects, ranging in size, complexity and scope. This role is for the development, support, configuration and deployment of new and existing areas of functionality.

Responsibilities/ Core Duties
Consultancy
*Undertake Technical Design Authority role in projects requiring significant design input.
Sales support
*Assist with the preparation and delivery of system presentations and demonstrations, as required.
Product development
*Influence product development policy with market driven input.
*Participate in product development forums.
Staff development
*Identify individuals with the potential for promotion to a more senior role.
*Provide mentoring support to help others develop their skills and knowledge.
Research
*Maintain current knowledge of legislation, participate in its collation and interpretation.
*Support the Project Manager in producing accurate estimates and planning deliverables.
Commercial awareness
*Work within the correct boundaries of scope, incident management and change control.
*Design and provide a solution which is fit for purpose and in line with budgetary constraints.
User liaison
*Maintain a good working relationship with user contacts developing a rapport and trust with the client.
Technical Competence
*Be technically competent in the software tools / programming languages as required.
*Keep up to date with industry techniques.
Skills in the following are essential.
* Previous experience in a Pensions Systems role
* Experience of Pension scheme calculations, configuration and data migration
* Client facing
* Communication and documentation skills
* Analytical skills
