The Global Payments team ensures our employees and contractors worldwide get paid timely and accurately. The team focuses on automating global employee & contractor payments and works closely with International Expansion to implement new payments requirements as they arise. The Team also operationalizes new payment rails and implements comprehensive pay-out solutions.
Key responsibilities
*Own global corporate payment execution ensuring payments to employees, intercompany and vendors are funded and processed accurately and timely
*Manage and Build partnerships with our corporate banking partners, ensuring value for money and efficiency of processes
*Build and run the risk and control framework and corporate payments policies for corporate accounts, including segregation of duties, bank reconciliations and bank mandates
*Serve as escalation point on complex payment issues and ascertain processes are in place to minimize the number of payment processing issues
*Develop tools/metrics and dashboards to ensure processes are automated and efficient and we can track performance of payments metrics
*Manage FX exposures
*Build a cash forecasting process and reconciliation between direct and indirect cashflows
*Collaborate closely with other functions of finance teams
Key requirements
*5+ years of global or regional payments experience, with focus on Operations
*Has experience of working with global payments systems
*Have strong communications skills
*Ability to coordinate with multiple teams - both internal and external
*Self-starter and great communication skills
*Attention to detail with swift execution
Desirable:
*Experience in a fast growing environment
*Worked on system implementation and/or significant process improvement
Role location and hours
This is a full time role and can be based in our London or Newcastle office. However, following the Covid-19 outbreak, we have adopted a hybrid home/office working model. Employees will be able to discuss and agree with their line manager any flexible working arrangements.
