THE JOB OPPORTUNITY:
The role will be part of the senior leadership team and requires an autonomous individual capable of making decisions to further the commercial impact the team has within the company. You will benefit from joining the company at a period of exciting growth, in a business of 18 multi-disciplinary professionals that is rapidly expanding. As this role will have overall responsibility for the financial performance and operations of the accountancy department, the appropriate candidate will be fundamental in building the relationships with our clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
This role is suited to a commercially minded, experienced and diligent accountant with tax advisory experience and the ability to own client relationships. You will need to be highly diligent and confident in building client relationships. Whilst you develop your strategy and work with your team to develop the operational delivery of services, you will need to ensure you are mindful of building business and growing the department in line with the wider firm.
*A minimum of 3 years ACA, ACCA or CIMA PQE
*Experience in value adding outsourced accountancy services
*A solid understanding of personal and corporate tax, specifically R&D, (S)EIS& EMI schemes
*Organised and able to work to tight deadlines
*Strong verbal communicator
*Experience using Xero
*Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office platforms
*Excellent at maintaining and building new and long-lasting relationships
*Diligent and thorough, with a strong attention to detail
*CTA qualification desirable but not essential
