As Global Head of Treasury Operations you will be responsible for leadership of the global division, setting strategy, direction and building the division to support Railsbank's ambitions. The role includes Banking, Card schemes (Master Card, Visa), Payment schemes (governance and oversight of Bacs, Faster Payments, SWIFT, SEPA, FAST and FX operational activities and processes) and reconciliations undertaken across Global offices.
Partner with banks and other strategic partner relationships in support of cash management and business unit activities. Seek to align business unit banking and accounts with trusted global partner banks within standardised agreements
Scale our payment operations capacity through automation and expertise stakeholders across the business to prioritise projects and improvements
Ensure global compliance of treasury activities with relevant regulatory (including safeguarding) and scheme rules
Ensure treasury operations are running efficiently and in line with current best practice
Review and maintain treasury risk policy and processes which support the minimisation of liquidity/financial risk to the Group, whilst minimising the requirements on our customers
Assist with the implementation & development of a new treasury system - own all cash and liquidity processes to ensure these are integrated with group-wide systems and delivering automation and efficiencies where possible
Ensure all relevant policies, procedures and processes have been documented and are adhered to
Assurance and control of operational procedures, risks and issues, service levels
Support all regulatory and scheme mandated audits and reviews
Represent and champion Treasury operations across the business
Define KPIs and ensure these are consistently met and reported against
Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, Operations Managers and other
Supporting implementation of Regulatory and Industry changes
Develop a culture of performance management, improvement and development as a foundation for excellent organisational performance
Overseeing Annual Scheme Certification exercises

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Experience of developing and managing a world-class team
This role reports directly to the VP of Global Operations and will involve the overseeing of practices, processes and strategies as well as management of the Treasury & Payments division globally.
You're likely to be educated to degree level or equivalent, with good communication skills (across all media) with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people including senior management and external suppliers. You will possess the ability to 'get things done' in a flexible dynamic organisation.
