My client is a leading provider of non-opioid pain management and regenerative health solutions dedicated to improving outcomes for health care practitioners and their patients.
They are seeking to hire a Qualified Accountant (Accounting Manager) to join their Swindon office, on a full-time permanent basis.
The purpose of this position is to manage accounting activities including revenue, accounts receivable, accruals, and all contractual fees.
*Responsible for monthly European revenue and receivable data including:
oAnalyzing the monthly revenue and receivable data and preparing related account reconciliations
oCalculating and executing quarterly royalties payable if applicable
oAnalyzing and reporting on customer promotions
oImplementing process improvements for revenue and related accounting and reporting
oMonitoring customer accounts receivable balances and working directly with our third-party logistics provider to address aging receivables, late payments and credit holds
oWorking closely with our third-party logistics provider to maintain an effective and efficient order to cash process
*Manage month-end accounting closing process to ensure accuracy of internal and external financial reporting including the following items:
oPreparing month end entries and reconciliations for revenue, cash, intercompany balances, value added taxes, payroll, transfer pricing and other general accounting areas
oSupporting statutory VAT reporting requirements
*Assist with quarterly and annual SEC financial and statutory reporting activities including:
oPreparing related balance sheet and P&L analytics
oPreparing any necessary supporting workpapers for SEC filings
oPreparing Revenue gross to net reconciliation
oSupporting statutory and branch reporting requirements
The incumbent works closely with entire Accounting/Finance team, Trade Operations, Customer and Contract Operations, Commercial Strategy and Development, Legal, Information Systems, vendors, and auditors.
*College Degree in Accounting or CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting required
*5+ years relevant experience
*ACA, ACCA, CIMA Qualified
*General knowledge of U.S. GAAP and an understanding of internal accounting controls.
*Demonstrate high level of accuracy and effective oral and written communication skills.
*Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multi-project and multi-product manufacturing industry.
*High proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
