The Role

I am currently working with a fast growing Telecoms, Infrastructure as a Service business who are looking to hire a Field Network Engineer. The split for this role will be around 50/50 between working from home and field based. The area you will be covering is mainly London therefore it would suit candidates that live within 1.5 hours of London. Company van can be provided if required.

This is a brand-new role that has been created due to growth. It will be working at the forefront of building next generation wireless infrastructure including connectivity. Due to the nature of the work, it is essential you have electrical experience with the relevant qualifications - BS 7671 - 18th edition and NICEIC.

The Responsibilities

As a Field Network Engineer you will be responsible for:

*Monitoring networks
*Deploying networks
*Working with customers such as MNO's and enterprise around any issues they are having across different services and platforms
*Field based 50% of your time covering mainly London however open to travel to other areas such as South West, South East and Midlands if required
*Incident investigation to resolution
*Monitoring live platforms and services
*Building on your knowledge around both fixed and wireless technologies to become SME
*Directly working with customers

The Requirements

As a Field Network Engineer you will have the following skills and experience:

*Electrical experience, certifications including BS 7671-18th edition, NICEIC
*AC power systems
*DC power systems
*Full UK / EU drivers license
*Telecoms/network experience
