Data Modelling Analyst

Global Financial Services Firm his hiring for a Data Modelling Analyst. This is a permanent role based in the City of London and this role requires 3 days in the office per week and 2 days working from home. The salary on offer is between £50K - £55K + Bonus + Full Benefits.

In this role you will provide technical expertise in analysis, design, development, rollout and maintenance of data modelling, reporting and integration activities. You will work with external stakeholders on their Analytics needs.

Responsibilities include:

* Design, develop, test, and deploy data validation processes (batch or real-time) using tools such as SQL, Microsoft SSIS, etc.
* Create functional & technical documentation - e.g., data integration architecture documentation, data validation specifications, data testing plans, etc.
* Work with report team to identify, design and implement a reporting user experience that is consistent and intuitive across environments & reporting methods using tools such as Tableau, SSRS, SAP BO, etc.
* Identify business reporting and analytic needs by collaborating with end users, stakeholders, and technology teams.
* Contribute to business intelligence competency best practices and implementation methodologies.
* Develop long-lasting, trusted advisor relationships with clients
* Develop visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Tableau desktop
* Adept in developing, publishing and scheduling Tableau reports and to visualize various trends as per the business requirements

Skills Required:

* Degree Educated in Computer Science / Engineering
* Strong understanding of data integration and validation best practices and concepts
* Strong experience with data visualisation tools - Tableau / Power BI, and database platforms - SQL Server, SQL Data Warehouse.
