Business Architect (Banking)

Rate: c. £70,000-80,000 FTC
Location: City of London
Working pattern: Hybrid

Role: Business Architect (Banking)

You will join a market leading Global Financial Services company who offer expertise in data science, change management and transformation for customers within the Financial Technology industry. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team who have amassed more than 700 clients worldwide.

Experience required:
+ Working experience of Data Integration, Business Intelligence, Data Quality, Master Data Management, Data governance, Data analysis and modelling.
+ Experience in banking is essential.
+ Experience in identifying and documenting business requirements in a data management environment, including use of joint application design facilitation or other requirements gathering techniques.
+ Experience in working with multiple levels of client personnel to gather information, validate analysis, and make.
+ Experience in developing business case for recommendations.

Role overview:
+ You will be gathering business and technical requirements utilising interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, business analysis and workflow analysis.
+ You will be creating Target Operating Models for future stages of data design flow and creating frameworks for data control and governance.
+ You will perform gap analysis of policies, processes, and capabilities against frameworks or desired target states.
+ You will assist with roadmap creation, including the conduct and incorporation of prioritisation, dependency / successor analysis, and resourcing.
+ You will generate cohesive documentation of: Business processes/process maps (As Is - To Be), functional and technical specifications and use cases.
