The JM Longbridge Group are working with a rapidly growing professional services consultancy that specialise in working with high potential SMES.
They are actively recruiting for an Accountancy Client Manager to join their accountancy department on a full-time, permanent basis. The role is a mix of office and home working, with their offices situated in London Bridge.
The Client Accountancy Manager will join a rapid expanding accountancy department to support clients as part of a commercial, collaborative, and diverse team. You will be fundamental to providing strategy and vision to the accountancy team and in managing the delivery of quality accountancy services and financial strategy to clients.
This role is suited to a commercially minded, experienced, and diligent accountant with the ability to own client relationships, knowledge of operating an outsourced accounting function, statutory accounting, and tax issues relevant to owner managed businesses. Whilst you develop your strategy and work with your team to develop the operational delivery of services, you will need to ensure you are mindful of building business and growing the department in line with the wider firm.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITY
*Contribute to the financial performance of the accountancy department
*Build and manage key client relationships as the main day-to-day point of contact
*Provide commercial input to clients to ensure a value-adding service is delivered
*Undertake business development and onboard new accountancy clients
*Prepare management accounts and personal tax returns as required
*Prepare statutory accounts and corporation tax returns for c.25 clients
*Manage and train subordinate staff members
*Newly or nearly qualified either ACA or ACCA
*Experience in value adding outsourced accountancy services
*Experience using Xero
*Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office platforms
*Warm, approachable and highly organised (fast-paced and varied role)
*Enthusiastic to speak to clients, employees and new people
*Growth mindset; curious and keen to try new things, learn more
*Excellent English - written and verbal
